Majorca promises the perfect setting for outdoor entertainment, thanks to its balmy climate for most of the year. Nowadays, it’s not just Palma and the ritzy beach resorts that offer eclectic, lively bars, music clubs and dancing though, but towns island wide. Even in small villages, the main plaças become a hive of activity by night, especially in the high season, with bars serving local wines, craft beers and cocktails – often accompanied by live music. There are also countless fiestas celebrated in Majorca, with bands playing into the small hours, so it’s worth checking out the island’s seasonal events before a visit.
